Motherload

The unseen, unacknowledged and unappreciated work of women is a persistent element of our culture. Making the invisible visible is essential for true change. I am interested in calling attention to the labor of women, especially the small everyday gestures of love, comfort, care and compassion. This work is held in our heritage and is tied to stories we tell about women's lives and history.
